Commissioning Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, a passion for problem-solving, and hands-on experience with Casambi lighting commissioning. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of lighting systems for our clients, offering technical support, and ensuring that all systems function to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commission lighting control systems, with a particular focus on Casambi technologies.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues on site related to lighting and electrical systems.
• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide on-site technical support and ensure that the installation meets project specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring positive client interactions throughout the commissioning process.
• Perform system testing and programming adjustments as required.
• Travel to various locations for site visits and installations, which may involve working away from home on occasion.
• Work flexible hours, as project demands dictate.
• Provide feedback to the team and contribute to continuous improvement processes.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Lighting Site Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or similar role.
• Electrical Background: Strong understanding of electrical systems and standards.
• Casambi Commissioning: Hands-on experience with Casambi lighting control systems.
• Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Work Autonomy: Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
• Flexible Hours: Willingness to work outside of normal working hours, as required by the project schedule.
• Travel: Must be willing to travel and work away from home when necessary.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Formal electrical qualifications
• Experience with other lighting control systems is a plus.
